Payment Mitigation

Individuals, who have serious difficulties meeting their financial obligations and do not expect to be able to do so in the immediate future, can apply for payment mitigation. The Réttarbót Law Firm will assist in the completion of such mitigation applications. It is of great importance that such applications are completed thoroughly and correctly for best results.

Those who fulfill the required conditions for payment mitigation will be appointed a representative. The representative will negotiate a mitigated payment contract. This contract will be based on the payment of installments in accordance with the applicant´s financial capacities. The contract will be entered for a period of 1-3 years and can include articles on terms of payment, the reduction or cancellation of individual claims.
